Jon is a photographer for the sports image wire Cal Sport Media. He is also a freelance photographer based in Rochester, New York, with a focus on professional and college athletics as well as photojournalism with a focus in fire scene photography.
Prior to moving to Rochester, New York, Jon was the team photographer for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, a staff photographer for Slipstream Network, and an alternate photographer for Lime Rock Park.
Sports are a passion for Jon, and they continue to drive his photography. His goal is to make those who are viewing his photos to feel as though they are at the game themselves. As a former junior hockey player, Jon has the background and a connection to read plays before they happen and convey athletes’ emotions through the lens. His favorite sports to cover are hockey, lacrosse, auto racing, and rodeo but enjoy covering any sports in all weather.

In print in Firehouse Magazine, The Hockey News, Connecticut Post, Stamford Advocate, Fire News, and more. One of his most notable photos is the cover photo of the movie “Ice Guardians”.
